An OEM cabin air filter offers the best combination of performance and value. Many after-market companies offer cabin air filters that either promise to be a) less costly or b) higher performance the the factory air filter.

The trouble is, the factory cabin air filter is perfectly designed for your car. If you get a cheap alternative, you end up with a filter that doesn't catch many contaminants and that can foul quickly. If you go with a more costly filter that promises to filter out even the smallest particle, you often see a reduction in climate control system performance, as the filter is too restrictive.

Once again, OEM parts are your best option.
